PSA- 2011s from quality producers in the lakes are peaking. RTR Pinot is a perfect example. Fruit hanging around a dense, brown sugar/ cinnamon core. For anyone smart enough to hold on to Rieslings or Pinots from 2011- good job and open up!

Fresh and fruity -- red cherries and raspberries -- with raw mushroom earthiness and subtle lavender notes. Maybe a bit dilute on the palate but not watery.

A good NY Pinot. I can think of a few other NY Pinots that are better (Ravines, Dr Frank's & White springs) but this one has a smooth start with good pepper finish.
