A competent wine in a rough vintage. Shy upfront, riddled with sour rot on the back end. Little to no fruit on the nose. Outside the four or five top producers in the FLX, this is what 2015 is. — 6 years ago
Medium-bodied fruit-first white. Doesn't pack too much punch however, which redeems the overall presentation. Solid with frittata. — 6 years ago

I fell in love with Cotes du Rhone 12 years ago because of >$10 bottles like the Clovis. It's quality is stunning considering the price, and it signals magnificence for 2017 S Rhones. Buy all you can and drink it immediately. A little VA on day-2 drinking, fruit falls off significantly as well. Otherwise, it'd be a 10! — 6 years ago
Second time around with this bottle. Excellent with Gamay staples like tomato salad, guac, and sweet potatoes. The value really takes it next level. — 6 years ago
So legit. Tough vintage for Can Franc around the lakes, but Chris and his team bucked the trend (yet again) and made a thoughtful, imaginative wine. Fruit bursts off the glass from the jump. Nice textural decision to counter the acidity with the slight carbonic effervescence. Just wish I had more. — 6 years ago
Rosé All Day! Had a hard time believing the first bottle we tried was as good as we remembered it was... so we waited a week and tried a second. Delightful punchy nose of strawberry and citrus. Alcohol (13%) is well integrated and the acid is refreshing. Going back to get a case. — 6 years ago
Lees-y, citrus, & crunchy. For $15/btl I think this is an automatic house bubbles. — 8 years ago
