Oh what a year makes. Totally different mouthfeel to the 2011. Luscious, fruit forward with round tannins and plenty of stuffing in mid palate and finish.

Very well integrated, packed with good pepper and spice, big ripe fruit, and just the right amount of oaky tannin. Tobacco leaf, pie spices, fresh fig, cassis, dark chocolate. A California cab to write home about.

A solid napa cab at $50. Blueberry BlackBerry, and cedar. Probably a bit more blueberries than previous bottles but still good.
