Love friend Rutger de Vinks wines.

Cherries, cedar, damp forest on the nose; fairly dense, smooth tannins, lingering finish. Tasty.

The 2nd wine from RDV. I'll take this over most Virginia winery's flagship wines. Ready to drink.

The entry level wine "Friends and Family" from @RdV Vineyards, no need to wait here, this is ready to drink now more like a Beaujolais or a simple Loire Cabernet Franc as the structure is soft and supple and the wine is fruit forward, tasting like cherry, fresh berries and grapes with not a trace of oak.

Super weird oak profile. Was hoping for a nice surprise from my home state!
