First, I love the screw top! Secondly, this bottle has been open for 2 days now. Having said all that, deep tones in the nose as I’d expect from this varietal. Bitter, tart on the tongue. Let’s try that again... a little better. Still too much tannins for this.

Definitely a medium bodied wine with a hint of sweetness but not overpowering. A good wine to pair with food, but maybe not good enough to have on its own.
