Ravines Wine Cellars
Estate Grown Finger Lakes Pinot Noir

Raspberries on the nose with cherry and oak on the finish. Nicely balanced with mediums tannins giving it a long finish. Light in color but packed full of flavor.

Have tried a few vintages of this, and prefer 2020 to the others. Generally seems to be a good vintage for the finger lakes. Surprisingly lush and almost gentle on the palate. Nice fruit - just enjoyable.

6 years in, this still could’ve used a few more years in the bottle. 2nd day opened up nicely. Excellent structure. Great for a cool climate red, but maybe lacking in some of the fun secondary notes a warmer vintage or climate would’ve imparted.
