California Cabernet Sauvignon

Inky in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity on the nose with vanilla, oak, blackberries, plums, cherries, licorice, cocoa, spices, metals and black pepper.

Full-bodied and a bit flabby, with medium acidity.

Dry to off dry, and fruity, on the palate with blackberries, blueberries, plums, vanilla, toasted wood, licorice, chocolates, coffee, tobacco, cinnamon and peppercorn.

Medium plus on the finish with full, smooth tannins and black pepper.

This is a Nice Californian Cabernet. Easy drinking and almost balanced. Enjoyable by itself or with a piece of steak. Might be a bit sweet for some, but still great for $13. Drinking well now, and not one to hold for more than a year.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Bought it b/c I liked the artwork--I'll buy it again b/c I like the bold, not overly dry flavor.

Probably the best wine you'll ever have for $10.

Very nicely balanced. Goes great with our dinner of hot honey pork chops w. roasted snow peas and shallots.

Might have been the worst wine we've had in a long time. Gift from Justin. He sucks at picking wine. We poured the bottle out. Gross.
