Rancho Sisquoc
Flood Family Vineyards Sylvaner
Pours a light golden color that darkens as it gets to the rim and is fairly aromatic. Waxy, cottony and floral nose, like those red candy lips I used to buy when I was a kid. Sweet on the palate but still has a decent amount of acidity to show off the sweet peach and nectarine flavors. The finish drops pretty suddenly but I paid something like $11 for it and it is recommended.

Jan 19th, 2016Off-dry-- applesauce, lime & gardenia aromas, juicy tangerine w/ honeysuckle on palate. Great acidity. An under appreciated varietal for its every day deliciousness.

Jun 12th, 2018Fruit forward plum and stone fruit on the nose. Nicely balanced through for being a young wine. The wine finished dry.

Dec 3rd, 2017Random varietal, good porch pounder. Not too complex, semi-sweet (pears) but not overpowering. Golden yellow, like Bowie's hair in the background!
