Bottled yesterday and still months away from release... But we couldn't resist posting! 2013 Gap's Crown Pinot Noir.

Iconic Sonoma pinot. I want to steal away with the bottle all by myself! This large vineyard is the backbone of such classic pinots as Kosta Brown and dozens of others. In this incarnation the Winemaker has used the fruit to create a food-friendly pinot that entices just one more sniff, one more sip and so on until the bottle is somehow and suddenly empty.

Delicious, smooth, peppery notes with underlying subtle earthiness and smokiness. This is a delicious special wine.

Might be the best Pinot I have ever had. Smooth but still lots of flavor.
