Radius Wines
Washington State Chardonnay
Star bright gold. Abundant nose of ripe yellow apple and dried apricot. Medium full palate of yellow apple, dried apricot, and white peppery honey with a hint of spice on the moderate finish. Medium, non assertive acidity. Needs to be beside a rich dish to shine as a food pair. Bad with my salad. Great with my lobster Mac and cheese. Fried chicken, white sauces, and crustaceans (scallops, crabs, crawfish, or yes, lobster) would fare quite well. Washington is Bordeaux variety country. But this works as a Tuesday night Chard. Drink now.

Jul 28th, 2020Pale lemon with aromas of stone fruits combined with citrus and spice. Palate shows light fruits, apples and pears, lively acidity, and some racy spice on the crisp medium finish from this light body wine. Good value. Tasting Sample.

Dec 30th, 2019Lots of fruit notes. I prefer a chard with more oak/earth. Not bad with cheeses and nuts, though.

Nov 23rd, 2020Nice, medium bodied, silky feel. Melon, and a hint of citrus. Very little oak, but a nice chard nonetheless. Great with cheese, apples, confit, cranberries, etc.
