I'd heard such good things about Washington state Cabernet that I thought I would try an inexpensive one first. This wine is horrendous. The lack of fruit and tannins is not as bad as the amount of residual sugar. This reminds me of a Caymus Cali cab. Way too syrupy.

This wine was a recommendation from a friend that didn't pan out. Apparently my buddy likes his wine to drink like fruit punch because this tastes nothing like a cab. It has a great nose and the first taste is good until the swallow then you realize that you want your money back.
