Jun 12th, 2020This 2010 Pinot has aged wonderfully. I was rummaging cellar aka basement and found an unopened case. I buy a case or so a year. The wine was delicious, dark fruit and long finish. Imho it was competitive with Beau Freres.

One of the most Burgundian Sonoma Coast Pinots. Quite barnyardy on the nose, probably more than any California Pinot, yet the palette is smooth and full and velvety, all within the context of 13.4% ABV. Burgundy fans would really enjoy this one.

Expected Cali brightness with red fruits balanced by savory baking spices, mushroom/earth. Silken without any blemishes. Enough acidity to keep it moving along.

Wow. Someone gave this to us and I had no idea how good this was. Bright red fruit with wonderful acidity minerality and a little bit of saline. Love it.
