Fuckin' cool wine. Sharing with others heard notes of chard, north rhone, burgundy and chenin of course. Lots going on but all balanced. Oak,acid,minerality,stone fruit,gold apple. 12.5% alc, unirrigated,organically farmed 50 yr old bush vines from Stellenbosch.

Jun 28th, 2020The last of these 12's. Was getting nervous it could be close to post peak but.....wow! Intense, balanced, complex acidity, oak, fruit. A wine that makes you consider qualities of Burg and Rhone tho this btl perhaps not AS MUCH as the last. Very old world in nature. Could hv waited but very happy to hv enjoyed it and shared. Wnehse.

16/20 (88/100) В первом носе заметный редуктивный тон (спичечная головка); в развитии моцарелла, зеленое яблоко, лимон. Довольно высокая кислотность, вкус соответствует аромату. Добротно сделанное, но не слишком сложное вино.
