It's a really beautiful label so hats off to the graphic designer. I really want to like this Shiraz and I kept flip floping on whether it was good or offensive.
I really enjoyed the young fruity acidity that blended well with the tannins while this wine sat on my tongue, I kept it there for a long time to enjoy the weight and texture and flavors- it was telling a great story! Sadly after every swallow I was left with this acrid tar aftertaste. It's kind of like the a cigar- great when it's in your mouth and you're actively smoking but afterwards your mouth is full of bitterness and regret.
It's like $25 from Naked Wines which is certainly at the top of their price point and I would give it a 7.0 price considered.
