50/50 Monastrell and Syrah. Chris Ringland's hand is evident as this pushes the boundaries in terms of fruit richness. The Pappy Van Winkle barrels may play a part in that, but also seems to impart a smoky rusticity that provides the savory element that makes this work.

Feb 17th, 2019Finished in Pappy Bourbon Barrels.... Vanilla, black fruits and cedar dominate the nose.... Blueberry and peppercorn on the palate with a smoked meat & brown sugar finish. This is the real deal, by no means a gimmick.
