Dão Red Blend

Purple-red with orange tinge at the fringe. Not much in nose initially, with jammy red fruit in mouth. Red fruit and barrel smoke develop in nose later, though jammy notes in mouth recede. With several hours, a cherry, plummy flavor emerges. A good tinto but I've had better vintages from this producer. Needs aeration for full character to show

This was perfect with venison. Dark, fruity, and a liiiiiiiittle chocolate touch.

Awesome round rich chewy fruit. Plummy and Jammy.

Nice juicy violet color. Earthy mushroom on the nose. Medium acidity. Semi dry. Fruity. Medium body. A hint of chocolate. Mild tannin. A very pleasant wine. One of the best I tasted from Portugal. I recommend it.

Beautiful berries and fruit, however for a Portuguese wine it's lacking character. £12,50 at odd bins

Spicy and juicy. Round, relaxed

A little bit astringent for me, but nice.

Delicious and full-bodied. Perfect compliment to a good meal
