Purple-red with orange tinge at the fringe. Not much in nose initially, with jammy red fruit in mouth. Red fruit and barrel smoke develop in nose later, though jammy notes in mouth recede. With several hours, a cherry, plummy flavor emerges. A good tinto but I've had better vintages from this producer. Needs aeration for full character to show
