Quinta do Portal Douro Tinta Reserva 2011. Dark and opaque as you would expect from Port grapes. Very dark plums on the nose with slight floral notes (violets). Palate is deep and rich largely dark plums with very fine tannins. Beautiful structure, very nice wine.

This 2008 found in the back of our cellar is exquisite. Glad we opened tonight as its perfect! Wine enthusiast 92 points. Full of blackberry and soft tannins. Awesome.
