Cedro do Noval Vinho Regional Duriense Red Blend

Didn’t think much of the wine. Sticky, spicy, and ripe. Mix of black and red fruits. Clearly some wood influence. Tough blind frankly - thought it might have been a Merlot-heavy blend at first due to the stickiness but it was just too spicy. Ended my guess with “some Spanish varietal”.

I like the dark cherry touch of this wine. One of my favorite Douros.

Smooth and acidic for a Portuguese wine. Very delicious with food.

Good tannins short on back nice fruity flavours. Fermented in stainless steel vats

My first Portuguese wine.

This is a solid red blend, a good option if you're wanting something from the Old World.

Now if only I was drinking this on the Camino de Santiago....
