'Crasto' Douro Red Blend

Very good light red wine from Douro. Simple with some red fruit and flowers notes. Excellent for the price.

Densely extracted, purple-red. Floral, violet, butter and wood in nose. Plum, cherry, blackberry and chocolate in mouth, black currant finish. Later, earthy. Slight seed tannin bitterness, tactile prickliness and moderate (and increasing with aeration) astringency in aftertaste. North America could use more decent Portuguese reds like this.

Bright cherry. Nothing too complex. Was hoping for more to differentiate it...

Dry wine. Pretty good.

Nice tasting notes, easy on the palate for a red, towards the lighter side. Paired nicely with the burger and salad.

Taste of raspberries. Stood up well to rigatoni with Parmesan and tomato sauce with ground cayenne peppers

Really good. Amazingly suave.

Red Fruits all over, no acidity at all. Rich color, nice glass of wine

Leather. Substantial but not overpowering
