Escudo Real Vinho Verde Arinto Blend

Light grass and citrus nose; apricot, citrus, highly effervescent; put in fridge and serve over ice. Nice wine for cooling off but missing some of the super dry mineral notes in other VV. Would drink again.

Surprising amount of concentration and nuances for a 7 dollar wine. Has no hint of artificiality unlike any other Vinho Verde.

Bright acidity with strawberry and raspberry. Crisp and effervescent. Pairs nicely with sushi.

The soda pop of wine. Inexpensive, slightly fizzy, and with a touch of residual sweetness. Still with pretty good acidity, a floral/tropical fruitiness, and even a little minerality. A no-f***ing brainer at $8/bottle. Cheap wine doesn't get better than this.
