Orange Dao Vinho Branco Rufia

Subtle in color. Doesn’t look like an orange.

Ripe apricot, honey, saline. Elevated acidity and gripping tannins. A decent orange wine. Made from a blend of Encruzado, Bical, Siria, Malvasia, and Sercial.

Smooth and mild orange over pastas and such at Corto Jersey City

Notes of citrus and Saskatoon berry on the nose, hints of cedar. First tasting note - ripe cherry. Once opened up, smells maraschino cherry. ultralight acidity and body.

Sort of boring orange from off grid in Stuttgart 16 euros

Apricot, almonds and quince jam on the nose. Dry, almost bitter but not. Not tart or astringent but gives the idea that it is. Some minerality, some chalkiness, green plums and green figs. Lager orange in colour.

Definitely funky town. No lack of acid here, plus green tea and chalk in the midpalate.
