Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Over-oaked. I have experienced this with prior vintages of Quilt, so if you enjoy new wood dominant fruit forward Napa cabs, then this will be up your alley. Ripe and juicy. Nice medium plus body with high alc. A big wine. Screw cap closure so drink up sooner rather than later.

Super full body. More like a merlot

A decent California Cab. Would get again at the right price.

Raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and spices. Nice bouquet on the nose. Still a bit young with tannins that are medium but still will likely mellow more over time. Had this with burnt end bbq nachos and gnocchi, decent pair.

Scents of anise and parsley, charcoal, leather. Full, balanced palate. I didn’t feel aware of the high alcohol content and I didn’t experience this as over oaked. I really enjoyed it.

Pretty sweet

Solid wine at around $40-45. Some ‘filler’ made it taste a bit fake, but still not bad.
