Tastes and smells like the inside of a fresh pumpkin? Blueberry, banana walnut bread.

Wow- one of the better old WA Merlots I've tasted. Chocolate, cherries and tart grippy tannins

My first QC and I'm pleasantly surprised after hearing all the hate from the cognoscenti. Yes, there's definitely some oak, but it has integrated well with age. Started out a bit hot but that calmed with air. This could definitely go another 10-20 years and is just starting to show tertiary notes. Looking forward to trying one of the cabs.

Quite an enjoyable Merlot, needs a few minutes to acclimate and then full of flavor and great nose once it opens up.
