Blind Tasting MOT=90
Color: Solid red
Nose: Anise, nothing else really, I think it needed more time to open up
Palate: Very strong tannins, loads of fruit and very well balanced.
Opinion: Very impressive body compared to what I expected after smelling the wine. Maybe more time would increase the score a few points.

A Washington Cab: oak nose, blueberry plum fruit forward on the taste with a vanilla spice. medium finish. A luxurious wine and multi layered; a definite buy for your cellar. At the BYOB Wine Advocate dinner(93 pats or better) in Napa. A phenomenal opportunity to taste a significant variety of wines. What a fantastic event!

Lives up to the reputation - full and lush without spilling out all over the place. Spice and cassis up front. Cocoa and vanilla as it warms. Let it sit down even longer and enjoy your reward.

Beautiful cab, but surprisingly only a bit better than CVR.
