Tasted this right after a very fine left bank and the nose was very similar. Palate ended up being very American oak centric. Good value but didn’t expect much for nine dollars at Costco.

Fine QPR #cabernetsauvignon from #coonawarra - light vanilla toast notes backed by a broad well of cassis and blackberry preserves with soft spice. Jammy trap is avoided with lovely acidity on the palate to balance the up-front fruit and fuzzy tannins to keep things interesting. Top tier Cab for $10 at Costco.

Great for drinking straight out of the bottle. Who needs stemware? Fun fruit, relatively smooth, not too heavy. It’s a party wine for people who don’t care about tannins and blackberries and currants and spending a lot of money.

Bought it for the cute label and Costco price. Definitely decent, went down smooth.

Smoky aroma, leathery mouthfeel, pairs well with bbq.

Juicy aromas of plum and cherry...and a little spice.
Drinks nicely with juicy flavors of dark berries, cherry and oaky-spice. Lingers on the palate a bit and finishes with some spice.
