The 2016 QTR Cabernet Sauvignon is a resoundingly bold, seductive wine. In the glass the wine displays a completely opaque royal purple hue with a deep violet halo on the periphery. Upon closer inspection, aromatic notes suggest black cherry, lilac oil, allspice, and macerated blueberries. The palate experience is densely layered with raspberry compote, baker’s dark chocolate, crushed rock, and lavender. The mouth feel of this wine has a finely structured set of tannins that provide a nice framework and a mouth-watering acidity that draws out the finish for some time. This is a gorgeous wine that will have plenty to offer for years to come.

Assorted dark berry, cocoa, coffee bean, stone and mineral. Decanted for 90 minutes.
This bottle is MASSIVE front to back with elegant layers a long finish and tremendous staying power!

This is very nice and full of flavor. It exceeded my expectations.

Off bottle I am sure as there was only sweet tobacco with no fruit able to push through. Disappointed but alas this happens now and again.
