I would have rated it higher if it had more typical Gewürztraminer characteristics. This new world Gewurtztraminer has oak on it, is 14.7% ABV, and doesn't taste like Gewurtztraminer. I DO LIKE THIS WINE, but it is not at all what you would expect from a Gewurtztraminer.

Perfectly the right amount of sweetness and dry, tart. One of the better Gewürztraminer I have had.
