Dark ruby, almost black. Intense bouquet of dark berries with some earthy notes. Raspberry and dark cherry. High tannin, med acid/alc. tastes of dark berries but not overly fruity. Black currants. Smokey with licorice and bitter chocolate/coffee flavors. Yummy but might be better with a little more aging.
