Started out weak and ungiving. Thought it would disappoint. Gradually it gathered steam and by the two hour mark it was just rocking and rolling, an amazing dense balanced nuanced fabulous bottle of wine that blew away the 04 DRC Richebourg next to it. Stunning wine. Sous bois and mushrooms hidden behind dark fruits, smoke and a little bit of minerals, I was blown away.
