Of the non-syrah wines, I personally prefer the truant (gsm) slightly over the brat (gs). While the syrahs usually get the most attention in our household, these are still excellent. The 2016 truant got the same score (93) as the 2016 brawler in wine spectator recently.

Obligatory stop on the way to the cabin. Tasting nice. I prefer this GSM over the GS (brat). Think it has a better balance of fruit and oak.
