May 21st, 2020Happy Rosé day everyone. Here's my Rosé for today.
Peachy /pink in color with a light salmon hue.
Strong fruity nose of strawberries, raspberries, citrus, grapefruits, green apples and minerals.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with citrus, lemons, green apples, grapefruits, herbs, spices and white pepper.
Medium length on the finish with tangy raspberries.
This is a nice Rosé from California. Well-balanced and engaging. I also liked that it is not bitter on the ending.
A good party wine and great for the pool. Needs to be properly chilled.
Good by itself or with food. I paired it with a cheese plate and crackers.
Made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
