It's nice to have a Barbaresco as your second bottle of the day. This has a gorgeous ruby color and aromas of wood and flowers. Spices, truffles, and raspberries are on the palate and those tastes last for a while. There's a slight hint of elegance here. Could be more but that's what Barolo is for, right? I'm enjoying the refinement this wine has. A really good way to end the night...or get it started. 2010

Tannic overload. This was a 2010 and could probably use another few years. Decent flavors though.
