This Chardonnay was a lovely surprise. Light oak (as I am not an oak fan), a touch of citrus and a buttery finish. We enjoyed it on its own late in the evening on a summer mountain retreat. Would be lovely with pasta or charcuterie or summer fruit pie.

An absolute stunner from a small family owned Canadian producer in BC’s Thompson Valley just outside Kamloops. Fabulous layering, clean crisp, slightly tart taste with long legs revealing a hint of toasted oak and vanilla finish. “Barrel fermented in French oak then rested for an additional year in the bottle” this Chardonnay is top tier. Cheers 🍷🇨🇦
