The nose here is very perfumed... Inky and floral with muted fruit underneath. The palette has ample dark plum and berry notes but finishes with a very heavy oak; vanilla and toasted wood. Feels a little misshapen in its approach. Theres a decent wine here if it wasn't dominated by the barrel. Could be interesting if it evens out with time but not something I'd invest in.
