Ambiguous Languedoc Pézenas red blend (50/40/10 Grenache/Syrah/Cinsault), aged 2yr in oak and SS.
Deep ruby with purplish rim.
Mesmerizing bouquet (opulent, sweet but fine): full of vanilla, violets, leather, prunes, rosemary, black currant, blackberry.
Bit knitting firm tannins (not breathed well?), suppressing well-integrated acidity. Medium body, flavored with blackthorn, wild cherry, cornel, blackberry.
Quite lengthy finish of berries mostly, touched by spices.
Should play well with saltimbocca.
