Full mouth of dark fruit

Deep inky purple. Plum, roasted meat, gunflint, and black pepper evident on the nose. Full bodied with dense and concentrated dark fruit on the palate accompanied by well integrated tannins, medium+ acidity, 14.7% alcohol, and slightly green, peppery finish of medium length. Pleasant drinking though lacking complexity. Paired nicely with homemade brisket chili on a cool September night.

Big and powerful, a bit restrained, especially at first but good fruit, deep flavor, marvelous grip, big potential, should drink well for 10 more yrs, gift from Curt and Ann.

Pride at it again. Blackberries rich in deep taste with tannins that make you pucker a bit. I liked this Syrah. I find the syrah grape a gem.

Pride Syrah. Really needs time to open up. But love the depth, purity, and acidity combined with rounded but firm tannins.
