Very enjoyable. Almost to the tee what I would expect for an elegant Zin. Macerated fruit, warm spice, solid tannic structure. Love those old vines. Not overly jammy either. Would love to try an older vintage just to see how it would mature. Had it with plain old cheese, wafer crisps and grapes. Lovely

Wow, what a beautifully restrained Zin. Zin is usually my last go-to varietal but this is quite elegant. Warm spice and fruit forward. I want more from Nathan Kandler :)

Delicious. Bright Zin fruit, lots of musky wild raspberry and orange blossom. Aromatically incredibly pure. One of the best coco zins I've had. Bravo Nathan!

assistant wine maker for Thomas Fogerty this is his own label. Contra Costa County, grapes planted in 1890 some interplanting. Evangelho Vineyard. Darker color. Smells of Cardamon, cigar box, baking spice, pine-Sol. Taste: leather, dryer earthier, dried raspberry, maybe a little barnyard...

Wild, bright, red Zin fruit with oranges and lemons. And loamy earth. Suave. Delicious.

I love this sandy old vineyard (power plant and all) and I love this wine. Beautiful expression of a really cool site.

Great tension and complexity, restrained tannin.
