Very deep garnet color. Cherry and red berries on the nose with hints of vanilla and tobacco. Juicy red fruit on the palate with food friendly acidity and nicely textured tannins. Carmignano is the original Super Tuscan and this blend of 70% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet, and 10% Merlot represents a value compared with offerings from Bolgheri.
