This on has been in bottle for a year or so. Big, toffee-colored thick head with a nice, tight, frothy head. At 10% ABV it has held up well in the bottle. Up front is a definite note of baker's chocolate chocolate and coffee. Notes from the wine barrel are muted, but more present on the finish. Rich and thick body, this one has certainly aged gracefully and to my memory has improved greatly since its initial release. Delicious.

Dark chocolate and coffee notes with nice acid finish from the pinot noir. Outstanding.
