Man. I have been looking forward to pulling this forever and the expectations got out of whack. Now I might have other versions which will do better than this but I thought it was just ok. Let’s see if it just needs more air.

Damn! Total winner. Bright tight fruit, crispy herbs, with a touch of earthy stink. I can’t recall being disappointed with a Pott wine.

Nice wine, old school with a little menthol and eucalyptus on the pallet.

Delicious cab franc blend! Crunchy red fruit accented by fresh herbs. Just lovely.

This wine is incredibly dense. Decanted for about an hour and a half before tasting. Lots of chocolate on the nose and some bramble with nice floral notes. The entry of the wine seemed a little flat, but then blossomed into a dark cocoa and cassis note towards the middle and finish. This wine wasn't nearly as tannic as I thought it was going to be, and instead had a little bit of acidity to it. Very punchy nose with a very delicate middle and finish. More delicate than the nose would suggest. Lots of dusty raspberry in the finish. This wine needs some time. I still don't expect this one to turn dark and bold, but VERY enjoyable nonetheless.
