Very good tonight. Magenta/purple in the glass with a nice brilliance. A dizzying array of fruit, with the red spectrum featured. Tar, some floral (violet) notes beautifully balanced and a long, pleasing finish. While it is powerful, there is an elegance which vaults it to the next level. I’d say my favorite of Mr. Pott’s wines.

2007. Pop and pour. Killer wine after 30 min. Great mature feel to the fruit. Balance is solid. Acid still present and makes this feel lively at 11 years. Sweet tannins frame it all well. Think this was <$100. Killer qpr.
