"Odedi"

Deep purple in color with a wide purplish rim.

Fruity nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, spices, oak, licorice, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, and light vegetables.

Medium-plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, plums, stewed cherries, oak, licorice, light vanilla, tobacco, peppercorn, espresso, chocolates, light earth, and herbs.

Tangy finish with medium tannins and tangy raspberries.

This young Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles is starting to drink nicely. Fruit forward with nice complexity.

The alcohol is still noticeable, but will get more integrated with more time in the bottle. Spicy and entertaining with good structure.

Good right out of the bottle, and much better after 2 hours in the decanter.

Still young, and needs a couple of years in the bottle to mature properly. Will continue to age nicely over the next 5 to 7 years.

Nicely balanced and good by itself as a sipping wine.

A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petite Sirah and 5% Merlot. Aged for 15 months in (35% new) French oak barrels.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$30.

How much mega purple can you put into one bottle? I’d cook with it - maybe. Dull swill.

Paso quaff. Wine is good, fruit bomb, with some acidity.
