If more Zin was like this, I would drink a whole hell of a lot more Zin. Fruit, structure, and acid all complemented each other. Great vintage of this wine.

8 years old might be pushing the envelope here, but still this was a joy to drink. Remarkably elegant and nuanced.

Even though there are plenty of aweful wines made from Zin, I still consider it one of my favorite grapes - and tasting one like this makes it clear why. Rustic with olive and brushy bramble spices. Powerful but made authentically - drinking a glass you become instantly transported to some beautiful vineyard in Sonoma. Sense of place, pleasurable and interesting. This is American wine at its finest.

I love PC's zins... Never over extracted, low oak, balanced acidity. This one was slightly bitter on the finish
