This is a really nice drinking wine that drinks well beyond its price point. At the cork pop it was slightly astringent on the nose. But after an hour the nose settled down nicely. There were hints of blackberry and some spices. This was followed up with more dark fruits, pepper and licorice and sort of like gravel dust. I thought it had a medium finish. This is a nice value find but you don’t have to tell anyone it was not expensive.
