I confess I was enticed by the unconventional packaging and excellent value for this "one liter milk bottle" of wine. As a graphic designer I have a deep curiosity about how winemakers approach packaging and marketing. Vaso di Marina definitely brings to the palette all the complexity of a run-of-the-mill table wine that you'd find on just about any trattoria tavola in Italy... but that's the point! Perfect for bringing to a party, as I think it would appeal to a range of palettes. It's very quaffable (almost too quaffable for this lush). Definitely note the tag with cute story about the provenance of the recipe and winemaker's concept. It will warm your heart as much as a plate of mama's pasta from the homeland. Salute!
