On open lots of butterscotch and round. About 45min later it was lean and the aromatics became more subtle. Pear. Apricot. And a hint of effervescence. Super interesting. Not sure about the price tag.

California Arneis is a wonderful thing. Butterscotch. Apricot. Round and full-bodied. The bright acidity balances out / disguises the 14.4% abv.
Gotta love winemakers with the gall to plant a grape whose name translates as “very difficult and demanding person”
