-CORK TAINT- Stay tuned
Updated tasting notes:
Much better the second time. Dark purple in the glass, and harboring vegetal aromas, black tea leaf, cracked black pepper, and cherry syrup on the nose. The pallet was slightly off balance, showing more acidity, and exhibiting notes of stewed cherry, mineral, oak spice, nutmeg, and a smooth finish. Pairs well with meats.

Dec 21st, 2017Not as robust as the gran reserve ($14) , but still a well-rounded cab, great for Wednesday drinking. Will recommend with cheese and/or light meats. $9.00.

Sep 5th, 2016Good carmenere, more on the dark fruits with more subtle green notes. (I like my carmeneres greener). Better aerated.
