The Lost Abbey Red Poppy Ale Flanders Red Ale Style
Just released, and my favorite version of this by far. Much better balance of fruit, funk and sour, without as much sweetness as prior years. Should do nicely in the cellar.

Mar 28th, 20162015. Less fruit and more funk and acidity than other recent years. By far the best and most complex version of this I've had in a long time.

May 8th, 2015The Lost Abbey Red Poppy Ale. This is in the pantheon of great Flemish reds. Head like a root beer float and murky. Extremely well balanced, and the poppy seeds are noticeable on the lingering finish.
