Medium bodied Hunter Valley Shiraz with nice balance of chewy tannins. Wonderful nose with rich floral, nectar and black pepper notes. Good mix of dark currants and bright red cherries. Good spice but not peppery on the palate. Very nice smooth long flinty finish. Probably much better drinking at least 5 years later to appreciate the 100 year old post office vines.
